On February 26, 2025, the Russian House of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation (RH ISTC) participated in a session: "Fostering regional cooperation – building partnerships between scientific and research councils in the Asia Pacific region", which took place within the framework of the 12th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development.
The event was jointly organized the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and the ESCAP UN Asia-Pacific Centre for Technology Transfer.
During the discussion, meeting participants noted that international cooperation plays a key role in regional development and, consequently, in improving the living standards of the population. In this regard, the growing importance of creating consolidated digital tools and platform solutions was also highlighted. The session featured speakers from Russia, India, Thailand, China, and the Philippines.

In her presentation, Preeti Soni, Head of the APCTT Center emphasized the importance of cooperation between countries to achieve better results in the field of scientific and technological development in the Asia-Pacific region. In particular, Preeti Soni noted the initiatives and projects currently being implemented by APCTT, highlighting as one of the key areas of work for the Centre and the Russian Federation – the creation of the Asia and Pacific Technology Transfer Platform (APTTP), based on the platform architectures of RC Complex Systems.
Anastasia Ryabukhina, Head of the Center for International Projects and Initiatives and Coordinator for Cooperation with UN ESCAP, during her presentation revealed the role of platform solutions in promoting technology transfer development, and also presented opportunities and directions for cooperation within the framework of developing APTTP.
The initiative to create APTTP was also supported during the closing remarks by the representative of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research of India, Ram Swamy Bansal.
