The RH ISTC hosted a meeting with a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Russian Federation

On February 5, 2026, a meeting with a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Russian Federation took place at the Russian House of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation (RH ISTC). The RH ISTC was represented by its General Director, Dmitry Protasovsky.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities and ways to establish infrastructure for scientific and technological cooperation, innovation, and practical collaboration between Russia and India, drawing on the experience and expertise of the RH ISTC.

Science and Technology Counsellor of the Embassy of India in Russia Dr. Anand Kamavisdar, noted that Russia and India are committed to strengthening their strategic relations in the scientific and technological sphere and expressed the Indian side’s interest in expanding practical cooperation between the scientific, innovative, technological, and industrial organizations of the two countries.

Dmitry Protasovsky emphasized the significant potential for cooperation between Russia and India in the field of scientific and technical cooperation and proposed the initiative of organizing an «Day of India» at the RH ISTC venue. The event is expected to focus on the development of scientific, technological and industrial collaboration, serve as a platform for presenting potential areas of partnership, establishing direct contacts between interested parties, and facilitating informal discussions on the specifics of building effective bilateral communication between Russia and India.
