The Ambassador of Mexico in Russia visited the Russian House of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation
On November 13, 2025, a meeting with the Ambassador of the Mexican United States in the Russian Federation was held at the Russian House of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
From Mexico, the event was attended by Eduardo Villegas Mejías, Ambassador of the United Mexican States, and Roberto Israel Quiñones Sedano, Head of the Economic, Tourism, and Cultural Section of the Embassy.
The RH ISTC was represented by Dr. Igor Fedorov, Vice-President of the RH ISTC, and Dmitry Protasovsky, General Director of the RH ISTC.
Dr. Igor Fedorov spoke about the main prospects and directions for the development of international scientific and technical cooperation of Russia with countries around the world, as well as the successful experience in developing complex integrated solutions adapted to the individual requests and needs of partner states.
Representatives of the RH ISTC expressed their readiness to actively assist the United Mexican States in developing high-tech projects, based on the principle of effective and mutually beneficial cooperation. One example given was the project to create digital platform solutions in the field of international scientific and technical cooperation.
The Ambassador of Mexico emphasized that Russia and Mexico share many commonalities in national character. He noted that Mexico considers Russia a friendly country and expresses commitment to comprehensive development of bilateral relations.
The RH ISTC continues to fulfill its mission of strengthening scientific and technical ties between Russia and various world regions, promoting sustainable and mutually beneficial development in the interests of all participants in the cooperation.
